Rating Service Reaffirms Catholic Life Insurance’s Excellent Status
December 7, 2023 -AM Best, a leading insurance ratings analyst, has reaffirmed Catholic Life Insurance’s financial strength.
The agency rated Catholic Life Insurance’s financial stability, security, and management performance as A-(Excellent) with a stable outlook. This is the 40th consecutive year Catholic Life earned the “Excellent” rating.
SA Express-News Names Catholic Life Top Workplace
October 23, 2023 – Catholic Life Insurance has been named a Top Workplace in San Antonio by the San Antonio Express-News. The award was announced on October 19, 2023, at an event held at Top Golf in San Antonio.
To qualify as a Top Workplace honoree, employees complete a survey that evaluates the organization on everything from the organization’s long-term outlook and leadership to employee job satisfaction, pay & benefits, and work/life balance.
“Our employees are hard-working, dedicated individuals who take Catholic Life’s mission of securing families’ lives seriously,” said President Belz. “We are especially proud of this achievement because our employees nominated us. Each one is a team player who takes great pride in their work. It is truly gratifying and humbling to know that they value working here as much as we value their work.”
Seventy employees work at the Home Office in San Antonio.
“We have low employee turnover. As a result, we have many employees who have been with us for over 15 years,” said President Belz. “That says a lot about our employees and their dedication to our members.”
Catholic School Sweepstakes Program Begins With a New School Year
September 1, 2023 -It’s back-to-school time, and Catholic school students will soon knock on your door to sell you raffle tickets. Seventy schools are participating in the 2024 Catholic School
e Insurance. They will be selling $5 raffle tickets from now until early January to raise funds.
Since 2007, the Sweepstakes has helped Catholic schools raise nearly $15 million, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the schools.
Ticket purchasers will vie for the Grand Prize, which is the choice of a Roman Holiday Vacation for Four or a $20,000 Prepaid VISA Card. This year, Catholic Life will be giving away a 2nd Grand Prize, a $2,500 Prepaid VISA Card. In addition, Catholic Life guarantees that each participating school will have a $1,000 Pre-Paid VISA Credit Card prizewinner. Therefore, winning the $1,000 VISA card and the Grand Prize is possible.
