Each year, our Branches, and our Home Office team in San Antonio, Texas, participate in two nationally-recognized community service events. The first volunteer event is called Join Hands Day and it is officially celebrated on the first Saturday in May each year. The second event, known as Make A Difference Day, is recognized as the nation’s largest day of volunteering and is officially celebrated each year on the fourth Saturday in October.
Each branch hosts a special volunteer activity in their community and invites all branch members to participate. These projects include cleaning cemeteries, renovating community centers, visiting local nursing homes, and assisting the local food bank. You do not have to be a Catholic Life member to participate; everyone is welcome to help us make a difference!
