Established in 1987, this scholarship honors the late Msgr. Henkes, who served as our Spiritual Advisor for 27 years. Applicants may attend any accredited Roman Catholic Seminary.
The scholarship is open to any resident of Texas, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Nebraska who are enrolled in a Roman Catholic Seminary.
Congratulations to the 2022 scholarship recipients, Aaron Alford and Max Medina. Aaron Alford of Denver attends St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado and is studying for the Diocese of Gallup. Max Medina of Beaumont attends St. Vincent De Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, Florida and is studying for the Diocese of Beaumont.
Each were awarded $2,000 scholarships through the Rev. Msgr. Albert George Henkes Seminarian Scholarship Fund.
