Each year, we invite children in grades Kindergarten through 5th to participate in our annual “Flag Day Children’s Poster Contest.” This contest is an exciting opportunity for children to express their creativity and originality while also honoring a sacred American symbol.
The 2020 contest theme was ‘If I was President of the United States,’ and the participants let us know in their posters about what they would do as president. Each poster must include an image of the American Flag.
This year, we received more than 80 entries! The entries were divided into three categories: Division A (K-1st Grade); Division B (2nd-3rd Grade); and Division C (4th-5th Grade). A total of 18 entries were selected to receive cash prizes.
We want to thank all of the talented young artists who participated this year and congratulations to our 2020 Flag Day Children’s Poster Contest winners!
