Each year, we award 35 college or trade school scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Called the All American Scholar Award, this program recognizes well-rounded students. If you’re a Catholic Life member and high school senior who is college-bound, we invite you to check out Catholic Life’s All American Scholar program. Scholarships are $1,000 and non-renewable.
Applicants are reviewed by a selection committee, comprised of professional educators with experience in scholarship evaluation. Because they are independent of Catholic Life, there is no bias in their selection. Our ideal candidate is someone who excels academically, has a solid record of community service, and dedicates themselves to making a difference in their community, therefore, a 250-word essay on their most valuable volunteer experience must accompany the application. The essay should describe what they learned about themselves and others, how the experience changed them, their interactions, and their community.
Each year, 150-175 members apply for this scholarship. As a result, we are very firm about the deadline. Applications must be received by March 1, 2024, and can be found here, www.cliu.com/member-benefits/scholarship.
