Flag Day & Children's Poster Contest

Photo: Previous winners from the annual "Flag Day Children's Poster Contest."
Every year, Catholic Life Insurance celebrates Flag Day with an old fashioned flag raising ceremony. The whole family is invited to attend. We will be hosting this annual event, which is free to the public, on Monday, June 13, 2016. It will kick off with a Mass at 6 PM, followed by a flag raising ceremony, then a picnic and social. We will have commemorative t-shirts (while supplies last), music,  refreshments, and entertainment for the children.
We also invite children in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade to participate in our Children's Flag Day Poster Contest. The theme for this year is "What does freedom look like to you? Is it freedom of speech or the freedom to go to church? The freedom to get your education for free, or the freedom to grow up and be what you want to be?" Each poster must include the American Flag.
There are three divisions: Division A (K-1st Grade), Division B (2nd-3rd Grade), and Division C (4th-5th Grade). Three winners will be selected from each division to receive cash prizes. We invite the winners to attend our Flag Day celebration to receive special recognition.
Each poster must have a completed entry form attached. Click here to download the 2016 contest rules & entry form.
