For nearly two decades, Catholic Life Insurance has helped Catholic schools across Texas raise vital funding through its Catholic Schools Charitable Raffles. Since launching in 2008, this faith-driven fundraising program has contributed nearly $16 million to participating schools — with 100% of ticket sales going directly to those schools.

A Growth Story Rooted in Service

What began in 2008 as a pilot involving just 13 schools in the Archdiocese of San Antonio quickly expanded statewide. By 2011, the program welcomed participation from all Catholic schools in Texas, with 41 schools that year. In 2025, participation grew to 61 schools across 10 dioceses.

Over the years, Catholic Life Insurance has offered a completely turnkey experience: managing administrative costs, providing marketing materials and prize support, and ensuring that every dollar from ticket sales benefits the schools.

What Schools Achieve

Each school sells raffle tickets for $5 each to raise money for:

• Tuition assistance

• Classroom resources and technology

• Program enhancements and extracurricular activities

• Facility improvements
