This year, our Christmas blessings doubled – not only was it our second year sponsoring an Angel Tree – but, our first year adopting a family and senior citizen. Our Angel Tree overflowed with wishes, bending the bows and warming our hearts. Created by The Salvation Army, The Angel Tree alleviates hardships and brings the magic of Christmas to the homes of hundreds of thousands of children and Seniors.
While Catholic Life Insurance has a tradition of giving back, the Angel Tree is special as each branch carries carefully crafted wishes belonging to the families and individuals themselves. Of course, there is always a longer list for the children than for adults, but each equally hopes for bare necessities such as winter coats, socks, and shoes, in addition to games, and toys. Our employees selected gift tags, then placed the unwrapped gifts under the tree which were later delivered to the Salvation Army by members of our home team. The Angel Tree brings awareness of financial hardships in our very own community while providing a chance for businesses throughout the nation to improve the lives of families during Christmastime.
